The Need
Poverty keeps children out of classrooms — no uniform, no backpack, no books, sometimes no functioning school to attend. Every year a child spends outside education is a year that can't be given back.
Our Response
We support school development, classroom furniture and supplies, uniforms, backpacks, books and literacy initiatives, including for children entering school for the first time and adult basic literacy where communities need it. Our work in Multan shows what this looks like in practice — a program that began with roughly 57 children and has grown substantially as more families brought their children into education.

Children whose poverty or circumstances interfere with school attendance, plus adults in communities where basic literacy support is needed.
